  • In the year 1994 - the name of the church was coined as Mehasthambam Prayer House by our Pastor M. Amirtharaj. In the Following year, being blessed with a new place,Mehasthambam prayer house was established at Thiruvotriyur and was inaugurated by Ayya M.S.Joseph (IPC). From then, the Lord blessed us in all our endeavours and helped us spread his word in the community for over 14 years(1995- 2009). During the latter part of the year , in 2008, the church had to face a catastrophic event ( Tsunami ). Due to which in the following year the church was shifted to different locality. For over three years (2009-2012) we held on to God, worshipping Him with all our might. His unwavering Grace never let us out in all our adversities. Our continued prayers and resolute faith in God was answered in the year 2012, when we were able to shift from a rented place to a new place at New Washermenpet. From then we have relished His new mercies from year to year till this day.

  • About Ministry

  • In the year 1993, a small group of believers came together under the leadership of Pastor M. Amirtharaj (Founder and President), who’s Vision was fixed on God’s word from the book of Ezekiel 38:7, “Prepare yourself and be ready, you and all your companies that are gathered about you”. As the community grew and thrived over the course of a year, it became evident that a larger canvas was needed to paint the profound message of Love Faith and fellowship. This realization led to the transformation of the fellowship into a church, marking the inception of Nithiya Mehasthambam Prayer House in 1994. Over the years, this humble beginning has blossomed into a vibrant and nurturing spiritual home. The journey of Nithiya Mehasthambam Prayer House is a testament to the enduring power of community, the strength of shared beliefs, and the unwavering commitment to the path of faith. Today, we continue to walk this path together, growing in faith, spreading love, and embracing all.

Our ministries also extend into visiting various villages and hospitals thereby spreading the Gospel to the nooks and corners of this world.

Our cottage ministries are the channels through which we extend a hand of friendship and invite non-believers to join us on this journey of discovery, understanding, love and faith of Jesus Christ.

Since the year 1997 Convention meetings, All-night prayers and weekly Bible studies have helped our community to delve deeper into His grace.
